J. Reyes Landscaping has worked the Methuen area for more than 20 years by its own account, led by president Oasis Reyes, and covers lawn mowing, seasonal cleanups, mulching, planting, pruning and related yard work across Methuen, Lawrence, Dracut, Andover and several nearby towns. Its Angi reviews, mostly from 2022 through 2025, describe a crew that shows up, works hard and sometimes does more than asked — one reviewer said the team cleaned up under a deck without being asked, another credited Wilfredo and the crew for going above and beyond on a routine cleanup and mulch job, and several called the pricing reasonable. The picture is less consistent elsewhere. A 2024 Google review complained about three industrial leaf blowers starting before 7 a.m., waking the neighborhood. A 2023 Google review described declining workmanship and frequent staff turnover over several years of service, ending when a crew member reportedly told the customer to "find someone else" after a complaint. And a 2025 Angi review said the crew did good mowing and trim work one year, then stopped responding to texts the next season. Google's own rating reflects that split — its two reviews average out to 1 star, a sharp contrast with Angi's 4.5. For routine lawn and yard maintenance, the Angi record suggests solid, sometimes generous work; the noise complaint and the turnover and responsiveness issues are worth asking about directly, especially if early-morning work or long-term consistency matters.
