In April 2026 a homeowner hired RGS to haul away the large limbs a March wind storm had dropped in the yard, then looked at the trees still standing behind the house, collected estimates, and called the same crew back. That is the pattern under most of what people write about this Danvers outfit: quote fast, start soon, get hired twice. The work described is the heavy end of tree care. Two 80-foot trees and a smaller one in July 2026. Six trees taller than a three-story house in March 2026, taken down without an incident the customer could point to. An ash in a spot tight enough that the reviewer's whole point was that no house got hit. Speed is the line that keeps repeating. A June 2026 customer described what they considered a very big job starting at 7 AM and finished by 11:30. Price is the other one: reviewers say plainly that RGS came in cheapest, and an April 2026 crew took down a few extra small trees at no charge and filled the holes their work left in the lawn. The platform numbers line up rather than argue: 4.7 from 95 Google ratings, 4.7 from 176 on HomeAdvisor, 4.9 from 23 on Angi, 5.0 from 22 on Thumbtack, with written accounts running back to 2017. Rudy, the owner, is named directly in reviews from 2025 and 2026 and is described working alongside the crew. What to press on is the office side, not the sawing. In a June 2025 Google review a customer said the removal and stump grinding were done well and priced well, but calls and texts often went unanswered before the job, and afterward a request for a payment receipt to give an HOA got no reply at all. A July 2025 HomeAdvisor review describes the same sequence: timely crew, good work, then silence on the receipt. Separately, a June 2025 customer gave four stars after equipment damaged the driveway despite a manager's assurance beforehand that it would not. This is the crew to call when something big and awkward has to come down quickly and the quote matters. Pin the scope and price down in writing first, the way a 2022 customer described receiving a written agreement covering the work before the trucks arrived, settle who pays if a driveway or lawn takes damage, and get your receipt the same day, while the crew is still in the yard.
RGS did a great job safely removing two 80 foot trees and one smaller tree from my property. They did a great job cleaning up as well. I would hire them again.
I hired RGS to prune a large area of trees & their work was excellent. They were professional & easy to work with & very reasonably priced
