- Fireplace built-ins — a 2021 reviewer said Althea installed them in a 100-year-old house
Riveted Woodworking & Design is Althea Tower's custom woodworking business. Its website names her as owner and builder and says the business provides custom design and handcrafted woodworking for families and small businesses, specializing in built-in cabinetry and accent walls. On elan-studio.com, Tower says her workshop is in Bristol, Rhode Island, and that she serves Rhode Island and most of Massachusetts. heyrhody.com also names her as the founder. A 2021 Google reviewer said Althea handled fireplace built-ins in their 1900s home from consultation to installation, blending the new build into the 100-year-old house. That 2021 reviewer said she had since completed 2 other projects for them.

I have been dreaming of adding fireplace built-ins since moving into my 1900s home, 20 years ago. Finally, I came across Riveted Woodworking. From consultation to installation, Althea exceeded my every expectation. She somehow managed to bring my ideas to life, while seamlessly blending a new build into my 100 year old house. It’s as if it was always there. I loved working with her so much, she has since completed 2 other projects, all of which receive rave reviews from our friends and family. I could not recommend her more!! If that not enough, she’s a big fan of Friends!
