Roberto Affordable Landscaping is a Waltham/Watertown-area landscaping company owned by Roberto Ruiz, with BBB listing 12 years in business and one employee. Its profiles cover lawn care, landscape design and installation, mulching, trimming, cleanups, tree work, irrigation, land clearing, and related outdoor services, with a background check shown on Thumbtack. Recent Angi customers describe fast responses, next-day or same-day starts, thorough yard cleanups, trimming, edging, mulching, and crews that leave properties clean. Other reviews praise dependable scheduling, affordable work, and friendly crews. Angi shows 4.3 stars from 683 ratings, while Thumbtack shows 4.5 from 10 externally sourced reviews; BBB gives the company an A+ grade without accreditation. The record includes a recent price concern: one reviewer said the company was easy to deal with but not cheap, and another reported being overcharged $850 for a small lawn-mowing service. Those comments sit alongside reviews describing reasonable and fair pricing, so request a detailed written scope and price before work begins. Roberto Affordable Landscaping appears suited to homeowners needing recurring lawn care, cleanups, mulching, planting, trimming, or broader landscaping and tree work. Confirm the contracting entity, crew scope, insurance, start date, and final price in writing.

Very Good, easy to deal but not cheap.
Such fast communication. Job was completed two days after I requested the help on Angi. Yard clean up, trimming, edging, mulching. Price was very reasonable and fair. Highly recommend!
I contacted Jose Roberto and he responded immediately and got the job done the next day. He has an excellent team of workers and he personally works and supervises them to complete the work on time. He did a perfect job of cleaning the yard of overgrown weeds and edging all the beds and mulching them. very happy with the quick responses and the quality of work done in a timely manner. I will hire him again and recommend him highly.
Prompt started work immediately went beyond my expectations. Made my property beautiful. Would diffently recommend this company Roberto is a hard working pleasant personality
Within 24 hours of our estimate, the job is done! Roberto and his crew of 9 cleared out a long-neglected area of our yard that we used as dumping ground for yard waste. It was full of invasives including autumn olive trees, bittersweet, deep-rooted vines, and a few stumps which he cut down further. He also removed an old, large log from an old tree-cutting job. His crew even did work that we hadn't asked for such as weed-wacking a different area entirely. They hauled away all the yard waste and left things clean. Roberto gave us a great price and was done in 2 hours 10 minutes. Very polite crew. Will definitely use Roberto and his crew again!
