Rocha Pro Painters has painted an 85-foot church steeple in a single day and repainted a historic house in Middlesex County — the kind of range that shows up across 40 reviews dating back to 2020, almost all of them five stars. But the most recent Angi review, from December 2024, describes something serious: alleged property damage from using the wrong paint products on a bathroom remodel, a claim the company's own liability insurer investigated and only partly covered. The Stoughton company holds an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor license, and its site describes interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting and refinishing, and light construction/bathroom remodeling. The reviews back that range up: a South End condo renovation that included plastering and custom built-in cabinetry, a Newbury Street retail interior refresh done in two off-hours phases so the store didn't have to close, and repeat business from a real estate investor who has used the crew on three properties for powerwashing and painting. Recurring themes across the years are daily cleanup, responsive communication, and same-week turnarounds — one reviewer got a quote the same day they called and had a finished deck by the following week. What to know: Angi's own summary of its eight ratings notes that seven, from 2020, are positive about professionalism and quality, but the December 2024 review alleges the crew used interior door/trim/cabinet paint instead of epoxy on a tub and shower surround, and acrylic instead of fire-rated paint on a fireplace, causing damage the company's liability insurer investigated and found them responsible for — covering only a fraction of the roughly $30,000 the homeowner says it cost. The same review also alleges no drop cloths were used and that the crew used the homeowner's microwave without permission. For a standard interior or exterior paint job, the volume of consistent, detailed praise and the active license make this a strong local option. For a bathroom or wet-area job involving specialty coatings, it's worth asking directly what products they plan to use and confirming insurance coverage terms up front, given the one detailed complaint on file.
I can't emphasis enough how wonderful Daniel and his crew were to work with. They were efficient, communicative, friendly, helpful, and most especially, did beautiful work!! I highly recommend this company and am already thinking of what project I could have them do next!

I couldn’t be more impressed! They exceeded my expectations, delivering exceptional quality from start to finish. The team was always punctual and professional in their work. Every detail was handled with care, and the results were amazing!
Hired for a bathroom remodel/painting job; alleges the crew used wrong paint (door/trim/cabinet paint instead of epoxy on tub/shower, acrylic instead of fire-rated paint on fireplace), causing damage the contractor's own liability insurer investigated and found them responsible for (~$30,000 in damages per reviewer, insurer covering only ~$4,000); also alleges no drop cloths used and crew used homeowner's microwave without permission.
We just completed an extensive renovation in our South End condo, which Rocha Pro Painters did an incredible job on! In addition to painting, they plastered and touched up our walls/ceilings when we had speakers installed. They also sanded, finished and painted custom built-in cabinetry. The itself work was impeccable, but what stood out most was their customer service and professionalism. The manager was easy to get in touch with, communicated thoroughly, and the employees were all super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
