Ronny's Home Improvement

Bathrooms and decks are what people hire Ronny's Home Improvement for. Six reviews since 2024 describe a bathroom remodel, and three this summer describe deck work, all from a Shelton company that holds 5 stars across 30 Google ratings and 5.0 across 11 on Thumbtack. On Thumbtack the company describes itself as a family-owned business of a father and two sons, and its website claims more than 20 years in home improvement and construction. The bathroom accounts are specific. A May 2026 customer said the crew handled the demolition, wall tiling, grouting, plumbing, electricity and flooring on their renovation. A February 2026 homeowner, after a complete renovation of the main bath, wrote that the quote was clear and fair and the job finished within the time frame given at the start. A 2024 review names Ronny and his father Lumi and describes a leaky roof repair alongside a bathroom renovation. The deck reviews are recent: a June 2026 refresh with new decking, railing and lattice, a July 2026 job where the crew power washed and prepped first and cleaned up at the end of each day, and a September 2026 deck remodel by Ronny and his dad that led the same customers to book their bathroom next. Smaller jobs show up too: an interior door in an old house (2025), an exterior door (2024), a basement with new ceiling tiles, overhead lighting and repainted walls (2024), a kitchen exhaust fan vented outdoors with siding work (2024), and a year of handyman tasks for a family new to Connecticut (2024). Reviewers keep coming back to arriving on time, clean-up and prices that matched the quote; a September 2025 customer wrote that they "delivered on everything they quoted for the actual price quoted." Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0665650, is active, held by Ronny's Home Improvement. The company's website lists a service area from Shelton to towns including Milford, Derby, Branford and Guilford, and says it offers free estimates and is insured.
