Roof Rite

Roof Rite holds a 5-star Google average across 151 ratings, and one recent customer said their roof was replaced in a single day with the work area spotless afterward, at a good price. Its website lists asphalt shingle, cedar shake, clay tile and metal roof installations, and the company says it has been in business 40 years. On its BBB profile it describes itself as a roofing contractor serving all of Rhode Island, with owner Thomas Rousseau claiming more than 25 years in roofing. A recent customer who had a roof replaced said the crew was friendly and professional, finished in one day, and that by the time they came home from work that night you would never have known. One customer said Roof Rite reshingled both their house and their mom's house, with a clean site afterward. A customer said they did the roof on the house and both sheds and replaced some trim boards while there, and planned to hire them for a business roof. A 2025 customer praised a siding and windows job. Its BBB page shows an A+ grade and accreditation. In a 2023 r/RhodeIsland thread, a commenter seconding Roof Rite wrote that they even did some free gutter work while they were up there.
