In September 2025 a Google reviewer wrote that they had a roof leak for 17 months that no one could figure out, including leak detection companies sent by their insurer, until Nick found the problem area after a thorough inspection. He and his team replaced both the rubber flat roof and the shingled roof in two days, that customer wrote, with a 10-year warranty on the work. Roofing and Home Solutions is based in Stonington, and its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0632266, is active with the state under ROOFING & HOME SOLUTIONS LLC. The company says it has 14 years of experience across Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. On Google it holds 5 stars from 67 ratings. In January 2026 a customer wrote that Nick replaced their roof and gutters, wrapped the wood trim in aluminum and vinyl sided the gable accents and three season room. An October 2025 reviewer said Nick's price was the best of five estimates, that he was the only roofer who didn't try to upsell new skylights, and that the job was done on Wednesday after the estimate was accepted on Monday. In November 2025 a customer wrote that the team began on the scheduled day and worked non-stop until the job was completed. In a February 2024 review, a customer named Nicholas Mandes as the owner and said he was informative about the process and materials for their roof replacement. A March 2024 reviewer who found a leak wrote that their materials arrived the day after they chose Nick and they had a new roof within 48 hours, with Nick or a project manager on site throughout. In a 2022 review, a customer wrote that the company installed a standing seam metal roof on a heavy timber roofed structure after Eversource ran over the roofing just before installation.
Paul and his crew were great to work with. Professional, reliable, and hard-working. Paul gave me a competitive quote, explained everything to me, and was there every step of the way — patiently and knowledgeably answering my many questions! He was always available via phone, text, or in person and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the results. The roof was done in one day, and cleanup was excellent. You would never know they had been there other than my amazing new roof! I highly recommend AM PM Roofing.
Nick and his workers are truly as good as the many reviews say. He replaced our roof and gutters, wrapped our wood trim in aluminum, and vinyl sided our gable accents and three season room; all at a great price. We highly recommend him!
Great communication between owner (Nick) and myself. Delivered as promised. The team began work on the scheduled day and worked non-stop until the job was completed. My neighbors have complimented me how good my roof looks now.
I had a wonderful experience with getting my roof replaced. Nick is awesome. Not only the best price out of 5 estimates, but I couldn't have gotten a better job. Nick was the only roofer that didn't try to upsell me on new skylights, he's honest. The roofers were respectful and pleasant. I accepted the estimate on Monday and the job was done on Wednesday. My yard was left very clean. I highly recommend Roofing and Home Solutions.
I had a roof leak for 17 months that no one could figure out, including professional "leak detection" companies sent by my insurance company. Nick was recommended to me by two separate people I know personally who do not know each other. Nick was able to nail the problem area in my roof after a thorough inspection. He and his team expertly replaced both my rubber flat roof and shingled roof in 2 days and also provided a 10 yr warranty for the work. I am very pleased and relieved with the outcome, especially after a torrential rain storm today. **Bonus--Nick is a super honest, straight forward, nice human being!**
