Rosa Electric holds 5 stars from 151 Google ratings. The company describes itself as an electrician serving Tolland County with residential and commercial work throughout Vernon, Manchester, South Windsor and surrounding towns, and says it brings over 40 years of experience to panel upgrades, repairs, generators and EV charger installations. Jason J Rosa's Connecticut electrical licence, ELC.0184929-E1, is active on the state registry. Its BBB page is an A+. Old houses come up in the work. A recent customer with a 1942 home said Jason added outlets, replaced and rewired every light fixture, removed old cloth-covered wiring and a junction box in the attic, and added breakers to the panel so an air conditioner could run in the living room without blowing power to the house. That customer wrote that he also caught a water heater that had been installed incorrectly and was not up to code. A recent customer whose 1957 house lost power on one half said one worker troubleshot for many hours, called in someone to help, and they finally found the issue and fixed it. A recent customer had a standby generator installed, with an existing manual transfer switch relocated, and said they also identified an issue with the service with Eversource. A recent customer listed projects over 15 years, including the wiring and lights for a finished walk-out basement, a 240v hard-wired service for an indoor sauna, a sub-panel and 240v in a garage, and wiring for a mini-split. A recent reviewer described major rewiring after a fire at a church annex, saying Rosa met with town inspectors and the power company from day one and gave the insurance company documentation for the code-required upgrades. A 2026 customer said they did the wiring and a 200 amp service upgrade for a home addition, plus a generator interlock, and later the electrical and fixtures for a kitchen renovation. A 2024 customer said Jason and Nick installed an EV charger in a garage in under 40 minutes, and that Tracy got them on the schedule within the same week.
Contracted Rosa Electric to install a standby generator. They did a great job, even relocated an existing manual transfer switch. They show up when they say they will, their work is timely, they are professional and personable, and they leave the work area clean. And they are reasonably priced! They even identified an issue with my service with Eversource. I have used them for over 22 years. Rosa Electric goes above and beyond, I highly recommend them for any of your electrical needs!
