Route 7 Shower Door says it specializes in designing and installing frameless shower doors in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Its website lists a service area that includes Danbury, Bethel, Brookfield, Newtown, Redding and Norwalk. A recent customer said their 2 shower doors still look beautiful after over 7 years. That customer wrote that owner Jay came out in less than a week to re-apply silicone in one bath and adjust the shower door in a second. The same customer had the company order and install a very large mirror that slides back and forth to cover built-ins in the master bath. A 2024 customer said Jay installed frameless shower doors in the master and hallway bathrooms and recommended low iron glass, 3/8" thickness and a teflon coating to help prevent etching from well water. A 2024 reviewer wrote that the price was at least 25% less than at 2 nearby stores, with satin brass hardware and the doors installed within 10 days of the order. A 2024 customer said the company was quick to come out to measure and order the glass for 3 shower doors. A 2022 customer wrote that the company did shower work in 2 bathrooms and was easy to work with.
