Very happy with John (and his team) at Swiss Welding! They promptly responded to my inquiry, provided a very reasonable price quote and completed the work in no-time at all! I will be using Swiss Welding for future needs!
Matt Dalipi of Swiss Welding made and installed three railings for me - (1) an iron railing to the steps to our lake, (2) iron railings for our deck staircase and (3) brass railings for our basement staircase. They all came out very well, as per the attached photos. I had these railings made because we are selling our home and we needed these railings to meet code / inspection. I found Matt on Angi’s List and went with him due to his great reviews. I reached out to him one night over text and he replied right away. He then came over the following morning to my house for the consultation. I appreciate his rapid communications, responses, and visits. Matt is very passionate about his work, as can be seen from his Facebook posts, Instagram posts, and by speaking with him in person. He makes and installs railings for many homes in nearby Greenwich, CT, to great reviews. Matt and his assistant installed the railings at our home in freezing cold temperatures in February 2025 for which I am very grateful. I don’t know how they were able to work outside in such freezing cold temperatures. For the outside railings, I didn’t want to go with classic black iron railings. I wanted them to be painted brown to match the aesthetic of our home and the surroundings. So I tested a few Rust-Oleum metal paint colors that I ordered on Amazon. I ended up getting our exterior railings painted “Rust-Oleum Hammered Brown” by one of Matt’s team members. As for the basement brass handrails, those were very complicated to make because each step was a different depth and at a different angle. Matt’s brass handrails correctly corresponded to the depth and angle of each step. This must have been very complicated to make. My mom is now able to walk down the basement stairwell with support on both sides. I highly recommend Matt Dalipi and his team at Swiss Welding for your railing needs!

I highly recommend this company hands down.! These are not the greatest photos, but at least this is an idea of my Oil rubbed bronze powder coated Railing. This is a dining room project that is still in the works.
