A 2025 Reddit commenter in r/barringtonri pointed neighbors to "Rufinos in Warren," saying Steve was easy to work with, with reasonable rates and quick communication, and that he also plows. A 2022 Google reviewer said Steve plowed for them over the winter, when they came back from a vacation to deep snow on the driveway. That 2022 reviewer wrote that he and his team then did a thorough extended spring cleanup and went on to maintain the property's landscaping on a regular schedule. In the same 2022 review, the customer described a property with many mature plantings and tight spaces, and said the work came at a reasonable price. A 2026 Google reviewer called them nice and respectful and said they were in and out fast, with the place looking great.
“Rufinos in Warren. Steve is super easy to work with, reasonable rates, quick comm, and also plows.”
These guys are so nice and respectful and they get the job done so fast they are in and out and the place looks great!
Steve plowed for us over the winter when we were in a pinch with deep snow on the driveway after returning from a vacation, he and his team did a thorough extended spring cleanup job, and now he & team regularly maintain our property's landscaping. It is sometimes a struggle for a homeowner to find good contractors, much less those for which it's worth writing a review. But, he has exceeded expectations -- easy to work with and responsive while quoting the jobs, performs high quality work for a reasonable price, and continues to stay on a regular schedule. Our property has many mature plantings, tight spaces and, therefore, less room for error, but this is the type of operation where when you take a quick peek out your window, you witness the team taking the time and going the extra step to get the job done right. As a result, the exterior of our home has never looked better. HIghly recommend to anyone inside his service area.
