Ryco is a construction company based at 607 Wareham St in Middleborough, operating under the registered name Ryco Excavating Contractor Inc. The Better Business Bureau lists the company as incorporated in Massachusetts on May 31, 2005, putting it at more than two decades in business under that name. Its own registered name and the Better Business Bureau's filing describe it differently, as an excavating contractor. One distinguishing note from area news: in January 2022, a retired 32-year Middleborough firefighter, Jim Wiksten, drove one of the company's flatbed trucks 1,036 miles to Cayce, Kentucky, to deliver a water tanker — coverage that speaks to the company's community ties more than to the quality of its work.
