After seeing S.B. Painting's work on another home in the neighborhood, a recent customer called for an exterior quote. That customer said Francisco came out within 2 days, that the prep included repair of trim and shingles, and that the work area was cleaned up at the end of each day. On its website the company lists New Haven, Hamden, Branford, Milford and ten other towns as its service area. A 2025 customer said the owner, Terry, advised on colors and approaches. A 2025 customer described a full exterior color change in which Terry and his team painted aluminum siding, a basement Bilco door, the concrete foundation and steps, iron rails, a garage door and plastic window shutters, after power washing everything. A 2025 customer said Terry and crew repaired a wall, prepped the space and painted the hallway, ceiling, closet and eight doors within one day. A 2025 customer said they fixed two water-stained ceilings, including some drywall, plus outside trim work, in one day. A 2024 customer said they repainted a plaster ceiling that was sagging. A 2023 customer said Francisco and his son painted a large room and the foyer into the hall and upstairs, including trim, ceilings and doors, in 2 days. A 2022 customer said Francisco and his crew completed an entire 3200 sq. ft. home, baseboard to ceiling, in less than a week. A 2025 customer who had the exterior painted several years earlier said a later interior job was rushed: within a month the trim and walls were chipping, the trim had not been primed, and new doors had drip marks and paint streaks. That 2025 customer said paint got into the screws of brand new hardware, and that a message to the owner about the chipped trim got no response.
