I want to say I take google reviews very seriously. And Ive held off for months posting until today when the step came apart. If you want something that is cosmetically appealing this may be the company to use. If you want someone to listen to your concerns, something that is complete and structurally sound start to finish this is the last company to use. I needed a new hatchway dug out, stairs and a patio. What I got was a basement that poured water in, a hatch that leaks water, a patio that pooled water in multiple areas and then a whole section separated and caved in. Now I have a cracking concrete and step where the water pools and the sand is eroding. It's only been 18 months and cost me 13,000$ dollars. They came out 3 times. And the most recent time I was told "its part of maintainence". I included pictures so everyone can see for themselves. I am the first to give a positive review. But this is downright negligent. There are weeds growing in the trim. I told them from the beginning I wanted concrete in between. I was told there are weeds because the grass is too close. I said multiple times I wanted concrete and was told don't worry it's paver sand. If I could give zero stars I would. People can say whatever they want but fact is pictures dont lie. This is an updated review.April 2026. It's interesting how the company has changed its name and is no longer Design and Build. I am going to share updated photos of the job done by D & B.. the stair that is now falling to pieces, and the additional section of the patio that is sinking and separating. There is no recourse for bad work. Consumer protection doesn't help, BBB doesn't help. Small claims...Maybe I should call them and pay them more money to come back for "maintainence"..

These guys did a fabulous job repairing my 140 year old chimney. The brickwork in the attic was all crumbling. They wrapped it and added concrete. It will last another 100+ years!

Our ugly and useless concrete front walk had deteriorated to the point of being held in place by weeds, and our side steps were slowly rotting away. Needless to say, we sorely needed an upgrade. After reaching out to several masons, Muhamed and Design & Build provided by far the best-value estimate and understood our vision closely. Every part of of the experience was perfect - contract signing, materials selection, demo, etc. Muhamed frequently checked with me to make sure a certain pattern or edge matched what we wanted. Once finished, they took the time to leave us spare bricks and thoroughly clean up the job sites. We cannot recommend them highly enough and have already told everyone we know about our experience!

Just got work done by them, amazing hard workers, everything they promised they did. I would recommend these guys 100% if your looking for great Masonary at a reasonable price.

These folks are awesome! They did a beautiful job adding a small patio to my yard. They worked hard to ensure the design worked with my older home. They were on time and professional. I would hire them again.
