Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0★ from 35 ratings. Another May 2026 customer said he added drainage, sealed their foundation and built a retaining wall, and gave honest advice without trying to oversell anything. The Angi reviews go back to 2018. In a 2022 review, a customer said a stone wall was repaired and drainage added in a day's work. A 2020 customer said Leonard and a helper brought an old fieldstone outdoor fireplace and barbecue back to looking like new. In 2019 reviews, customers described a set of stone steps topped with a concrete slab rebuilt along with a water-damaged fieldstone foundation wall, a walkway with brick and bluestone porch steps, and pavers around a pool fixed so that it looked brand new. A 2018 customer said the job was done on time and for the quoted price. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration is active with the state registry.
Fair pricing and excellent work. The stones on my slate walks and patio shifted over the years -- a few were cracked. Leonard power washed the stones, pulled them all up, laid and leveled new stone dust, and reset the stones (replacing those that were broken). I couldn't be happier with the result. I'll definitely use Leonard again and recommend him to my friends and neighbors.
I can’t say enough great things about Leonard and his work. He is meticulous, knowledgeable, and his prices are very fair. He added drainage, sealed our foundation, and built a retaining wall for us. Throughout the process, he gave honest advice about what would work best and never tried to oversell anything. We’ve already received so many compliments on the updates. His work is truly amazing! I highly recommend him!
Leonard expertly repaired my slate walks and patio that had lifted and settled over time. The process included power washing the stones, laying and leveling fresh stone dust, then replacing the stone -- including replacing those that had broken. The pricing was fair and the work outstanding. I will use Leonard again and recommend him to friends and neighbors.
Good work
Leonard quickly responded to my request and provided a quote. He was always on time as promised. His craftsmanship was outstanding and very detail oriented. Leonard is a true professional. My daughter is having a masonry project done also and I quickly recommended Leonard to her.
