Seacoast Concrete is a Portsmouth hardscape outfit that builds paver patios, pool decks and front walks. The company says it has been in business 23 years, and its BBB description says it specializes in stamped concrete, custom wall and step work, and granite installation. A 2024 customer described a 1,200-square-foot paver patio for a new-build house, with Dillon Collins taking control of the details on site and the pitch set to shed water away from the house; that customer said the project took two days. A 2025 customer credited project manager Dillon for a large patio space and a new retaining wall on a property atop a hill. A 2023 customer said the company did a front walk with pavers and granite steps, and called the price fair. A 2023 customer with a drainage problem said the company graded the slope and installed a three-tier planter. In 2018, a customer said the company poured a new layer of concrete over an old, cracked garage floor and quickly did another coat after water seeped in before it cured. A 2026 customer said the entire walkway had started to sink after 5 years, with the edging come up and pavers rolling, and that a request about warranty or repair was never answered. A 2024 customer said stairs installed in 2018 by Jason Woods had a 4-foot overhang that caused them to loosen when walked on, and that Jason had not responded to repair requests; that customer called the walkway beautiful.
After 5 years the entire walkway has started to sink. There is a huge lip at the steps now. The edging has completely come up and pavers have started to roll and sink. I reached out to Seacoast to see about warranty or repair and never heard anything. Disappointed after 5 years it looks like this.
Not an easy job - creating a large patio space on a piece of property atop a hill. BEFORE: First four pictures show the original work site. There was a concrete pool with a surrounding deck sitting atop of hill retained by very old and heavy pavers AFTER:Next 5 pictures Thanks to Dillon, who was the project manager, for getting the work done despite the hour and the temps. It was completed in November. Last pic is of my dog enjoying the new retaining wall. Enough said
This is the work I had done in 2018 by Jason Woods, Seacoast Concrete Specislists. Of Portsmouth. Jason was contracted to install a new walkway and stairs. The stairs have a 4’ overhang which caused them to loosen when walked on. I have reached out to Jason on multiple occasions to review and repair over the past couple of years. First Jason said he was shorthanded and hes responsible after a certain period of time. I offered to pay to have him return and repair. As of today I have not heard from him. Jason does not guarantee his work. The walkway is beautiful, the stairs however are a disaster My homes entrance has been like this for months.deteriorating for over two years, with minor repairs from local help. I wanted to leave a review on yelp, but I don’t feel a verbal review does any justice without pictures. The original stairs had been there since the 70s. TO ADD A REPLY yes, you came back a second time to fix the walkway because the grout that you put in between the stones have worn away. I did call you and I did email you and I did text you and I have all the documentation to prove it and I did state in the text that I would pay you to come back and repair it because it was better to have the original person repair it then have somebody else come back your response is extremely unprofessional I only told the truth and sometimes the truth hurts
We needed a fairly large patio as our (new build) house is slightly above grade. We wanted something to last a long time, but not have the potential to crack if it was a continuous concrete pour. Jason Woods, the owner, convinced us to “upgrade” to pavers due to the “Northern exposure”. After reviewing their website, it was easy to pick out detailed selections of what we wanted and needed. Shale Gray Smooth Tech Blue-60’s. (3) sizes that can be positioned to enhance the random look, but yet easily form the main shapes …to the perimeter confinements. Coming from a design/build background, I created a rough design And Jason took it from there. On site, Dillon Collins, took control over the little details, never hesitating to ask for our opinion, at all the critical junctures of the patio installation. I was very concerned about water runoff, and the perfect pitch to shed water away from the house. For Dillon and his crew, this was a no-brainer. The pattern, The border and the pitch were perfect. We detailed a shower stall to look like stones with Tech’s “Antika” Shale Gray Smooth pavers. A nice touch. The border was a contemporary onyx, brick shaped paver slightly darker to match the grout to create a beautiful shadow line at the seams. The staggered joinery is incredible as it still creates a contemporary vibe against……Our Slate Gray Hardie Sdg. & White Azek Trim. We couldn’t be more pleased as it only took two days to complete the 1200 square-foot project. 7-21-24 We love the patio on the way it is pitched to shed water. We added a 12 inch perimeter of 3/4” crushed bluestone. This helps the water percolate, more slowly, away from the deck, when the big rains come….. I added a shower surround to exactly match the pattern around the stones for the shower. My only regret is that I did not put a footing under the load points, but since they are ledgered to the house, it shouldn’t be that much weight to cause the brick-shaped pavers to settle incorrectly…… Time will tell….. and we can always adjust accordingly since I am the carpenter and I used all screws…… disassembly is not impossible!!
Very professional and top notch work.
