Wood floor refinishing is the job Sebago Floor Refinishers is hired for. A 2024 HomeAdvisor customer said their kitchen floors were done quickly because the company suggested a water-based finish that let them apply more than one coat a day, and that they showed up on time and got right to work. The company describes itself on Angi as a locally owned and operated business with over 10 years of experience, specializing in wood flooring installation and refinishing. A 2017 customer said Cory was quick to respond and gave a quick quote, though the price was higher than that customer had hoped to pay. In that 2017 account, years of neglect and damage from a bulldog were sanded away, and the customer said the result looked like a brand new oak floor. A 2017 customer restoring a 250-year-old house said Jack came right out and emailed a contract, and the work ran from about 9 until 6 for a week; that 2017 customer said Sebago was slightly higher than the other estimates. A 2017 customer who had floors refinished and new flooring installed in the kitchen said the new flooring was separating a few weeks after the install. That 2017 customer said Corey agreed to come out and take a look, and they had heard nothing further. A 2016 customer said one scheduled appointment was missed by the team, but that the company then stuck to the price and work it quoted, and Cory was patient and flexible in working around the schedule of their tenants.
My kitchen floors came out great, and they make the whole room look better. They showed up on time, and got right to work. The room was done quickly because they suggested using a water-based finish that let them apply more than one coat a day. I just want to say thanks for the hard work and Iβm so happy with my floor.
Great company to do business with. Excellent job!!!
Corey is a very nice guy, He was responsive and on time and completed the project as he said. He refinished floors and also installed new in my kitchen. A few weeks after the install was complete, I noticed the new flooring separating. I contacted him immediately and he said he would come out to take a look. I have heard nothing further. SO, for the money (he was higher priced than others), I am disappointed in my install. I will review again if he responds and has a resolution for the issue.
Cory was quick to respond to my call and arranged to view the job and get me a quick quote. It was higher that I had hoped to pay but they were quick to accommodate our schedule, took care to protect as much of the rest of the house from dust, and cleaned up reasonably well. Most impressive was the great floor refinishing job. Years of neglect and damage from a bulldog were sanded away and the result looks like a brand new oak floor. I didn't expect the floor to look as good as it did, They were thorough, friendly, and attentive. I'd recommend them highly.
We received three estimates and although Sebago was slightly higher than the others I am glad we had them do the work. Jack came right out and was an intelligent and polished professional. He immediately emailed a contract and shortly after we agreed to the estimate two workers came by to take a look at the room. Both of them were personable and meticulous craftsmen. They started working at about 9 and worked until 6 for a week. It was apparent that they took pride in their work and wanted me to be happy with the results. We have been working on our 250-year-old house for 40 years. We have done some of the floors ourselves and we have had two other companies work on others of them. Hands down Sebago has done the best job. The floor is beautiful.
