Shoreline Hardwood Flooring

Charlie sent his crew and they sanded our wide Pine Floor that was in pretty bad shape from 40 to 180 grit. Minimum dust and the floor has now been painted and it's like new.. Thanks Shoreline!!!

We moved into a new (for us) home on Cape Cod in December 2025 and wanted to replace carpeting in two second floor bedrooms and a landing between them with hardwood flooring. We had six flooring company reps come by for estimates. Charlie gave us an estimate from Shoreline Hardwood Flooring and it was competitive with many of the others we received (especially for one that was almost twice as high!). Charlie was very friendly, organized and it was obvious that he knew a LOT about flooring. We wanted to use the same hardwood that was on the first floor and after we signed a contract we decided we wanted to increase the width of the new flooring (so instead of 2.5 inches wide we went with 3.5 inches). It wasn't an issue with Charlie which made us appreciate that he was so accommodating. Since we had just moved in there was a LOT of boxes and furniture throughout both bedrooms and Charlie agreed that they would rip up the carpeting and install/stain the hardwood flooring in one bedroom and the hallway and when that was completed and the floors were dry we would move all the stuff from the one bedroom to the completed one. This added a few days to their job but they were fine with it — again, much appreciated. Every day of the project except for one Ray and Christian were here working and they were both very friendly, hard working and patient (I would ask them questions about the process, curing time, why are you doing it like that and not like this, etc., etc.) and they were always in great spirits and didn't seem to get aggravated by my questions. They were both a great reflection on Shoreline Hardwood Flooring and I will not hesitate to call Charlie up again if we are having any more flooring work done in our home.
