Todd came by and told me what he could do at my house and I appreciated his ideas. Then he never gave me an estimate. I called him twice and left a message and asked him to return my call if he wasn’t available. Very disappointed

From John and Sharon Hinds – Fairhaven, Ma • Our plan was to demolish our small cottage and replace with a forever two-story home. • We asked the owner of the biggest contractor lumber company – he said Todd Shorrock. • We hired Todd to build the house. His billing was clear and transparent from the beginning; along with design plans agreed to before any step was started. • We lived out of state and our Fairhaven neighbors all commented how Todd and his crew were on the lot five days a week, 7-3. • With Todd we did not need to hire an architect … we gave him a rough drawing and he did the rest of the design work. Todd is a designer who is very clear and easy to work with. • We didn’t want the front door and entrance to look plain. So Todd, my wife and I stood in the street in front of the house to be, discussing options. • Three times during the construction my wife and I had changes to the agreed to plans; It was a simple hassle-free process to make the changes we requested. • Todd had a team of electrician, excavator, plumber, and masons, that he regularly works with. All worked perfectly together and I’ll use the electrician and plumber for years. • The mason did the stone work on the front of the house – but Todd was more comfortable doing the interior stone work around the fireplace himself. Great attention to detail. • I hired my own HVAC company for mini splits, and Todd still took the time to review their work and tell me their mistakes, that they corrected before they finished their work. • Todd took initiatives at every opportunity to make things better than average; an example is the plywood walls in the basement vs standard concrete; great eye appeal. Another example is building in the space for another fire place directly below the living room fireplace, in the family room, in case we wanted to add another fireplace in the future… Todd suggested it and we appreciated the forward thinking. • We have had no complaints, concerns, or any issues since the house was completed. My wife and I are totally thrilled with the whole process beginning to completion.

Todd recently built what I refer to as our "mini pavillion". Constructed of rough sawn pine, its is approximately 9 ×12 and sits on a concrete and stone foundation overlooking Wickford cove to the west and a tranquil salt pond to the south. It is our new oasis to escape the intense summer sun, enjoying cooler breezes off the water. Couldn't wait to purchase furniture to start enjoying our new outdoor spot immediately.. thank you Todd!! Todd does amazing work! He truly loves doing what he does and the quality always exceeds our expenses on our projects!
