Mike provided prompt service at a reasonable price. Excellent service. We will use his services again.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this electrician to get a firm, written quote and a full breakdown of their fee structure before allowing them onto your property. I had a very disappointing experience for several reasons: Hidden Fees: I was never informed that there would be an additional "after 4:00 PM" surcharge. I only found out when it was time to pay. Ignored Instructions: I specifically asked him not to break the seal on the meter if the power issue was coming from the utility company's side. He ignored this request and broke the seal anyway, which can cause significant issues with the power company. Zero Results: In the end, no repairs were made and no new information was provided. He simply charged me an inflated rate to tell me exactly what I already knew. If you decide to use this service, be prepared to be "stiffed" with extra fees that weren't discussed upfront. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for a more transparent and professional technician. The Review Offer: To make matters worse, after the service, he offered me a 20% discount specifically if I gave him a "good review" on Google. I find this highly unethical. It suggests that his high rating may not be a reflection of his work, but rather the result of him paying for positive feedback.
I used Shorter Electric Services to move an electrical panel to have everything to code before selling my home. Mike was always very responsive, gave me a reasonable price, and completed the work on time. I’m definitely going to use Shorter Electric Services again for any electrical issues or needs in my new home.
Mike is reliable, professional and ALWAYS shows up! Trustworthy & knowledgeable.
We used shorter electrical services for our home renovation. Mike made the process easy, with our permit and was fast and efficient. Will use him for all projects in the future, thanks Mike !
