Simple Greens Landscaping

One customer, writing in February 2025, had been having Simple Greens handle their lawn for fifteen years. Seven reviewers in all put a number on how long they have used the company — three years, five, six, six-plus, seven or eight, fifteen — and the written history goes back to 2013. Troy Ingemi runs it out of Saugus, and the company's site says it has worked the North Shore and Greater Boston since 2008. The bread and butter is the seasonal round: spring and fall cleanups, mulch delivered and spread, weekly cuts, shrub pruning and installs. This past July a homeowner had the front of the house redone — shrubs pulled and replaced, a new lawn, framing timbers replaced in the back garden — and credited Troy with staying in touch through it. A June 2026 customer had their front garden designed, and in April 2026 a crew rehabbed a small yard and its gardens. The work stretches past mowing. In September 2025 a customer already on maintenance asked them to demo a deck and put in a patio area, and a 2023 reviewer listed a backyard fence replaced, a retaining wall built and front steps replaced, with before-and-after photos attached. There is also a September 2025 review about a job that went wrong: a retaining wall started to shift within six months, and the homeowner wrote that Troy came out, took it apart and rebuilt it, no questions asked. Two things to raise. Neighbors have twice gone to Google about the leaf blowers — one in April 2022 called the gas blowers excessively loud, and one in October 2025 counted an almost straight hour of mowing and blowing, 5:20 to 6:20, on their street. And a condo association wrote in February 2024 that its snow-removal contract set a snowfall amount for each visit, but that the crew came more often than agreed and charged for every visit. For a standing seasonal contract on the North Shore — cleanups, mulch, weekly cuts, the occasional patio or wall — this is a company people keep for years. If your lot is tight or you are signing on behalf of a condo association, settle the blower schedule up front, and for snow, get in writing exactly how much accumulation triggers a billable visit.
