Sir Grout Hartford

Sir Grout Hartford rescues tile people were ready to rip out. Its Google page shows 5 stars from 132 ratings, and the recent reviews tell the same kind of story: a dull or mildewed floor or shower cleaned, re-grouted or color-sealed until the owners say it looks new. Its website lists a service area running from Hartford through towns such as Avon, Glastonbury, Farmington and Manchester. The work comes in specifics. In September 2026 a customer said Jai worked across four bathrooms and the kitchen while the family was out of town. An August 2026 reviewer with a leak from a second-floor shower got a video estimate within a week, had the work done about two weeks later, and paid a little less than the estimate. Two June 2026 reviews describe marble countertops refinished, one saying the etching and scratches were gone. In a December 2025 review, a homeowner described Peter staying all day to clean and re-grout an older kitchen floor, then sealing it, after Rod emailed a detailed quote the next day. Two technicians come up by name: Jai, in ten 2026 reviews, and Peter, in eleven reviews from 2024 to 2026. Rod, whom two reviews call the owner, comes up for estimates and scheduling. There are two complaints. A May 2023 Google reviewer said Rod promised an estimate the evening of the visit and never sent one or answered emails and texts. A 2016 Angi customer praised the technician but called the price excessive: over $1,400 for 6.5 hours of work. A June 2025 reviewer also said the service isn't cheap but is worth the money. Sir Grout holds an active Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0605825.
