A May 2019 Angi reviewer said the lawn mowing and tree trimming were done well at a reasonable price, with prompt service and good communication; another the same month credited the crew's attention to detail. In August 2018 a customer wrote that he takes care of their landscaping like it was his own home, and in June 2025 an Angi reviewer described hardworking, reliable work. The listings are thinner than they look. Angi and HomeAdvisor draw on the same underlying database and show the same 4.7 stars from nine reviews — one set of customers, not two — and the Houzz profile points to a different website address than the one on file. For seasonal work around Waltham — mowing, cleanups, snowplowing, a branch down after a storm — the good accounts are real, but most of them are from 2018 and 2019. Before you commit to a standing schedule, get the visit days in writing and settle what happens when the crew is running late.
Thaili used to be a reasonable company to work with. We worked together for over a year, but starting earlier this year, everything changed. The delays became ridiculous. Appointments scheduled a week in advance would still end up being hours late. If I didn’t remind him the day before, there was a good chance he would simply forget, with no heads-up, no apology, and no communication whatsoever. I own a design-build company, so I understand what it’s like to be busy. We’re constantly juggling multiple projects, but we still show up when we say we will. Being busy is not an excuse for wasting other people’s time. Yesterday was the second time he completely no-showed for a confirmed appointment. We had scheduled it days in advance, yet there was no phone call, no text message, nothing. I drove 40 minutes to the job site, waited another 30 minutes, then drove 40 minutes back home—for absolutely nothing. That’s nearly two hours of my day wasted because he couldn’t even send a 10-second text. This wasn’t an isolated incident. It became a pattern of missed commitments, poor communication, and complete disregard for other people’s time. If someone can’t be trusted to show up for a simple appointment, I wouldn’t trust them with an actual project. I can no longer recommend this company. Save yourself the frustration and hire one of the many other landscaping companies that actually communicates, keeps appointments, and respects their customers’ time.
