Specialty Kitchens Inc is a family-owned kitchen and bath remodeling business at 4 Hudson Park Drive in Hudson, New Hampshire. The company says it has operated since 1986 and provides cabinetry, custom design, and installation; its stated affiliations include the National Kitchen and Bath Association and the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire. Homeowners consistently describe kitchen and bathroom renovations, cabinetry planning, design guidance, installation, and project coordination. Reviews from 2022 through 2026 repeatedly mention detailed designs, clean and professional crews, communication, schedule adherence, and finished kitchens or bathrooms that met expectations. Google lists 4.9 stars from 87 ratings, while Houzz lists 4.0 from two ratings; BBB lists an A+ grade and accreditation. The record also includes a detailed February 2024 one-star review describing electrical problems, a dishwasher installation issue, finishing concerns, and missed management deliverables on a kitchen renovation. That account is substantially at odds with the larger body of favorable reviews, so prospective clients should ask how electrical coordination, appliance installation, punch-list work, and escalation are handled. Specialty Kitchens appears suited to homeowners seeking a design-led kitchen or bathroom remodel with cabinetry and installation managed together. Before booking, confirm the exact scope, subcontractor responsibilities, schedule, warranty or service process, and how technical issues will be resolved if they arise.
I can't express how happy we are with how our kitchen turned out and how happy we are with the entire process! It is exactly what we were looking for and it is beautiful! We looked around at a few places and this was the right place . We have a 1949 house with a 1949 kitchen and knew there may be demons. They put together a design and a plan that was exactly what we were looking for and kept it right in our budget. They relieved a lot of anxiety thank you! The installation crew was great. The job went smooth, stayed right on schedule, was kept very tidy. They have a trusted, solid group of contractors that do great work. A big thank you for making it all come together. It is beautiful! I can't express it enough. I don't think they could have made the process any easier. I will certainly use Specialty Kitchens of Hudson and their Team for any future remodeling and highly recommend them to anyone looking for the same. THANK YOU! Patti and Rick
A few years ago, we considered refreshing our 1960s kitchen. After months of deciding where to start, who to consult, and how to sort through endless manufactured kitchen products, we paused. Horror stories were everywhere: missed schedules, failed deliveries, broken promises, and dream kitchens turning into “please just finish this nightmare.” About a year ago, I was referred to Specialty Kitchens of Hudson, NH. With caution, I contacted them and was connected with Maria Ciggiano, their lead designer. Maria was pleasant, genuine, and not at all salesy. She was empathetic and listened. I explained that, as a project manager and computer hardware engineer, process, schedules, technical drawings, planning, and clear deliverables mattered to me. Then I met Mike Hendricks. Maria brought the vision, creativity, and design; Mike brought the nuts and bolts, turning the concept into schedules, schematics, bills of lading, and detailed work items. They understood my concerns and explained that the details I cared about were also Specialty Kitchens’ priorities. I only knew I wanted the kitchen “better,” but they had the knowledge, experience, and temperament to work at my pace, without pressure or pushing any manufacturer or product line. Maria listened carefully and kept returning with suggestions, guidance, and, most of all, patience. I received the most comprehensive kitchen project I could have hoped for. Maria created amazing 3D renderings and Mike Hendricks produced a detailed statement of work, itemized supply lists, and drawings for plumbing, electrical, walls, floors, cabinets, lighting, demolition, and construction. The schedule showed each day’s teams, subcontractors, and planned work. Their online portal gave us access to drawings, the statement of work, calendar, schedules, and daily progress photos. I met Scott Dionne, the owner, who was hands-on and easy to talk to. He spent a lot of time on site, and whenever I needed an answer or had to interrupt construction to let the dogs out, he was accommodating, attentive, and quick to respond. I never felt like I was bothering him, which kept me calm. When construction began, it was clear they were pros. They isolated the work area with plastic curtains to control dust and debris. Their checklist covered everything from keeping the sliding door closed for the air conditioner to ensuring the outside gate stayed closed so the dogs did not get loose. Checking the daily schedule and knowing what was happening, who was arriving, and when was amazing. They never skipped or delayed anything. I felt like our kitchen was their only project and top priority. If you do not select Specialty Kitchens for your next project, you are missing what a team can do when your project is the priority and quality service is the goal. Kitchen refresh. New Countertops and stove backsplash, New sink, New faucet, new disposal, crown moulding cupboards to the ceiling, some painting. THE GRANITE PLACE was over the top exeptional in their countertop showroom; and their on site customer service, measuring, installers, professionalism and cleanliness. All the employees of Specialty Kitchens were awesome to work with in the showroom and on site. Obviously a local family business and it shows. Scott, Maria, Andrew, the plumber for the sink, electricians for recessed lighting were all highly professional showing conscientious work ethic so that everything works properly to the customer satisfaction. All the workmanship done is top notch. I recommend Specialty Kitchens.
I finally took the plunge to renovate the original 1963 kitchen and bath in my home. I went to several different kitchen centers in the area. I found several did not want to even attempt to help me. Maria and Mike met with me, listened to my wants and needs and were easy to work with. Maria helped with picking out cabinets, flooring, counters and bathroom tub, toilet and sink. Mike went over the entire project and cost. Before the project started I met the team and my lead carpenter. Andrew was on the job daily and answered all my questions. He was great to work with and he kept the team on schedule and delivered quality workmanship. Darryl checked in weekly and even Scott came to work one day! Having only one bathroom in the house was challenging but because we discussed this issue prior to the start of the project it was scheduled around a vacation. Demo was scheduled and I went on vacation that day. I came home a week later and had a usable bathroom. Thing I found helpful: -Communication through phone calls, emails and the Buildertrend website was helpful for questions and updates. -Having everything picked out and ordered prior to starting the project is the way to go. This helped the team to complete the project in 6 weeks. -As I do not have central AC and it was 90 degrees in July they brought in a window unit to run and keep the workers cool! -Temporary sink in the kitchen as both the team and myself needed running water. -Carts to place items. One for miscellaneous kitchen and bath items to store and another for a temporary kitchen set up on my porch. My old kitchen and bath were dark, aged and looking sad. My new kitchen and bath are both light, fresh beautiful and functional. I can’t believe I waited so long to update my home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free renovation experience and great results.
We recently had two bathrooms renovated by the team at Specialty Kitchens, and the results were outstanding. Along with the master bath they completed for us five years ago, every project has exceeded our expectations. Debi from the design team is a pleasure to work with—she stayed within our budget while creating beautiful, high-quality spaces. The installation team, led by Andrew, was professional, detail-oriented, and consistently on time. The finished bathrooms are absolutely beautiful and add significant value to our home. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with Specialty Kitchens again—we’re already looking forward to having them back for our kitchen!
