Square One Contracting Services

My experience started out quite good with contractor and subs showing up on time, however, the work ended with the job incomplete and the owner asking for money early and then more money to pay subcontractors who were already paid. I had to prove, with help of my lawyer and documentation including photos of unfinished work, cashed checks and invoices they were already paid. The "facts" did matter. I was so disappointed how things ended after a strong start and good workers and a lovely gift from the owner just before he left my unfinished job to move onto a new one. I see below he calls me not "sane" in an attempt to slander my name. Yes, he was called for a plumbing issue that occurred shortly after but I won't go into that nightmare. IMO one poor review should not phase someone doing honest work. 2 years out or not this is MY HOME that was left unfinished not a shed or small issue, yet his reply below shows he seems angry at me for posting it. I will refrain from posting pics of the unfinished work and the cost to have it completed. Reviews serve a purpose. I urge people to take the time so others can get a clear idea of the company they may choose.

Cannot say enough about Jason and his crew. They did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to work with. Jason gave us contact information for parts of the job that were not included in the renovation which was really helpful and made the job seemless. He even went out of his way to help with choosing a walk - in shower when we had difficulty finding what we wanted. From Josh who did the flooring, framing and moldings to the painting crew and electricians, all were very professional, polite and easy to work with. We will hire them for any further jobs we may need in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a first rate contractor.

Square One did an amazing job of my bathroom remodel! Jay, Josh, and the crew were efficient, kind, and caring during the process, working with me on updates and allowing me the time to consider options. They were wonderfully respectful throughout the entire project, taking care to minimize disruptions as I work from home. I have already contacted Square One again for work in my kitchen! I highly recommend Square One for quality work and excellent customer service!
