St. Laurent Property Maintenance is a Hudson, New Hampshire lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal company founded by Jake Holden, who the company's own site says has served the Hudson, Litchfield, Merrimack, and Nashua area since 2005. New Hampshire doesn't license this kind of property-maintenance work, so there's no registration status to report. The bulk of the written history here is strongly positive and personal — Jake himself is named directly in a large share of the reviews, described as hands-on, quick to show up for an estimate, and willing to walk new homeowners through what their property actually needed rather than selling them everything up front. Specific jobs described include a full-day tree-stump-grinding and lawn-repair job finished so cleanly reviewers say they "couldn't tell they were there," a stone walkway built around a home, and repeat seasonal leaf cleanups for both residential and commercial customers. Snow removal shows up often too, with one review describing 18 inches cleared from a condo association's entire lot, curb to curb, within 24 hours. But snow work is also where the one serious recent complaint lands: a December 2025 review describes the crew pushing snow toward parked cars and over walkways rather than clearing it away, and says the equipment wasn't right for the size of the property — a real safety concern, not just a cosmetic gripe. A second, older complaint from 2023 describes calls, messages, and a website inquiry that all went unanswered, with the reviewer specifically noting the experience didn't match the company's mostly five-star reputation. Recent written activity is thin (just one review in the last six months), so it's hard to say how the company is handling things right now. For routine lawn care or seasonal cleanup, the bulk of this history is reassuring; for winter plowing specifically, it's worth confirming upfront that the crew has equipment sized to your property before the first storm.
WOW these guys were great! We had some trees taken down the stumps ground down and needed to have the lawn repaired. These guys came in and did the job in one day and when they were done you couldn't even tell they were there, except for the loam and hydroseeding. Thank for the great work!
Horrible job plowing snow. They do not have the right equipment for a property of our size. Snow gets pushed towards cars instead of away meaning those without higher SUVs cannot get out in an emergency if needed. Snow is pushed over and onto walkways that lead into our homes. Our association, given its size, requires a loader and a snow pusher. So because I cannot reply to your reply I’ll repost this review. This was day 2 of the storm. Not day of (note the sun shining). You are supposed to utilize a texting system which is often very delayed so people don’t have time to move and have their walkways covered. My wife had to help an elderly couple shovel their parking spot because it was not fully cleared. The property did not and does not look “mint”. I plow snow as well, for a landscaping company dealing with parking lots, roadways, as well as driveways. If any of our drivers left any of the above in the condition your company does they would be fired. Your drivers get very frustrated when us residents are asking for the bare minimum such as our parking spots being cleared. Last year were were met with one of your guys yelling “there’s no where to put it” when we asked for our space to be cleared. You have Chevy 3500HDs (I’m assuming 4WD), Fisher Poly Caster sanders, and Fisher XLS plows. I know those trucks have the power to stack snow, I’ve done it. Don’t mislead people looking at these reviews thinking this was the height of the storm when it was in fact the next day
Jake and his crew do a fantastic job. Professional and punctual.
