In an August 2024 Google review, a homeowner said the company had paved their dirt driveway in late July 2024, fitted them into the schedule swiftly and completed the job in two days. They also said someone returned their messages promptly. A different customer, writing later that August, described Richard helping them find a cost-effective repair for a dirt driveway. That account credited him and his crew with bringing in material to build up the driveway, adding a blacktop finish and repairing a crumbling sidewalk. An August 2025 reviewer praised a sealcoating job, describing a flawless surface, attention to detail and communication throughout the process. Google lists a 4.5-star average from 23 ratings. The Better Business Bureau gives the company an A+ grade and lists it as accredited. An April 2026 Google reviewer raised a road-safety complaint rather than a complaint about paving work. They described a driver in a silver Denali towing an orange trailer, heading toward Springfield/Westfield, repeatedly crossing from the right lane into the left and holding a phone while driving. Separately, a May 2013 Westfield News item described police officer Charles Kielbasa speaking with Richard Stanley of Stanley and Sons Paving about a trailer found to have expired registration.

Encountered one of your drivers on the like this morning heading towards Springfield/ Westfield. Silver Denali towing an orange trailer. In the right lane but crossing over into the left lane and swerving back multiple times. When I got up beside him, it was a younger guy, in his 20s or early 30s with phone in hand while driving. Not very smart in general but especially not very smart while driving a company vehicle. I'd personally never recommend your company if you'd is how your employees are on the roads. Not caring for anyone's safety.
Awesome job on the sealcoating! The team was professional, prompt, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. The surface looks flawless and really enhances the curb appeal. Great attention to detail and communication throughout the process. Highly recommend!
Richard was very friendly and helpful in working with us to find a cost effective repair for our dirt driveway. He and his crew did a great job in bringing in material to build up the driveway and did a very nice job on the blacktop finish. Even went a bit above and beyond in repairing the sidewalk that was crumbling. We are very pleased with our driveway and would certainly recommend!
Stanley & Sons paved our dirt driveway late July of 2024 and they did a fantastic job, it looks so elegant. Not only has this project increased our home's curbside appeal, it will make snow clearing a snap. Additionally, they were able to fit us in swiftly and got the job done in 2 days! Whenever I needed to reach them, someone always got back to me right away. I highly recommend them!
