Stanley Paving LLC is an asphalt outfit: its own site lists driveway installation and repair, crack repair, milling, patching, resurfacing and sealcoating, and the company says it has been in business 38 years. It holds an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau, where it is accredited. A 2026 Google customer gave one star and called the project "shotty from day one." That customer wrote that the old surface was ripped up and new asphalt installed the next day, and that a bike and scooter left indents after the instructed wait. The customer said water puddles in front of a step and turns icy in winter, that vegetation started growing in on the sides in 6 weeks, and that the asphalt was gritty and not smooth. The customer said new cracks keep surfacing and the owner told them it was "my problem," and called the work a "$7000 scam job." Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0532227, as active, held by STANLEY PAVING LLC.
