Garage door installations and broken-spring repairs feature in Sterling Overhead Door’s customer accounts from 2019–2021. The company says it has served Worcester County and Central Massachusetts since 1999, selling, installing, and servicing residential and commercial garage doors. Its website also says it installs Chamberlain Liftmaster openers and offers free estimates. In a January 2020 Google review, a customer said George had installed their door about 20 years earlier. When a spring broke, they left a message; he returned the call promptly and fixed the door the next day. An October 2019 reviewer described an earlier spring repair and a fair quote for a door replacement, saying other companies were 50% higher on both projects. Another January 2019 customer described about eight doors installed at their home and business over the preceding four years. There are also complaints. A January 2019 reviewer said a $100 repair left their door still not working, their calls went unreturned, and another company fixed the problem. In October 2021, a prospective customer described two months of phone messages, email, and an in-person attempt without a response. Google reports a 3.4-star average from five ratings; the Better Business Bureau gives the company an A+ grade.
