A recent customer who hired the company for a small retaining wall and pavers said owner Jason failed to meet the contract and never came back to remove the old railroad ties from the wall. A 2025 customer said their chimney was not completed despite repeated promises, that they paid 100% before the job was done, and that the owner pressed them by text, phone and email to remove the review. StoneGuard Masonry was contracted to repair our front stairs that were cracked and crumbling. We were charged close to 3000.00 for the job and was given a 15 year warranty certificate. Within 3 months of this job being completed, the stairs cracked as seen in the picture. We have reached out to this business on multiple occasions, with no return call. We have contacted BBB and will be resorting to legal counsel at this point. Would never recommend this company.
Hired this company 2 perform 2 jobs a extremely small retaining wall, and pavers in the front of our garage door... PAID CASH have a contract with him and he failed to meet the contract .... never brought his a machine in to do work .... always had some excuse as to why . Was supposed to remove the old railroad ties from te wall and never came back . Fails to return all calls placed to him in which we are now blocked ! when questioned on his work , quality he always said it'll be fine junk poor workmanship and work shows the quality . Owner Jason always had some excuse for not showing up on job childcare , wife equipment breakdown but surly found a way to get on property for our payment obligation ... Highly would NOT recommend this company go with a reputible . signed contract its not worth anything and will be sueing him in court for Breech of contract .
UPDATE!!! #2 . I'm here to express my frustration, my chimney wasn't completed. Promises after promises to come back and complete but never did. I wouldn't recommend using this company, stay clear!!!!.. I had to chase this company down to come back and complete my work, after threatening to contact the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU then a worker showed up promptly to finish the job. I asked to see pictures of the top of my chimney after completion. The owner kept harassing me in the middle of my work day to remove this review, he kept making all kinds of excuses. this is a business that he owns, he has MEN WORKING the jobs physically. All his excuses is irrelevant.he should've had someone come out and fix things before making me upset. He made me pay him 100% before the job was completed. I took an entire day to wait for someone to come back weeks later when he promised to have someone come out and fix the problem but no one showed and no call or text from the company. The owner is harassing me to remove my review over text and phone calls. When i cursed him and hung up he called again to upset me.. when i blocked him he reached out through email. This has turned into a nightmare for me. Stay clear of this company is you don't want to end up frustrated and upset as i am. I requested a refund of $200 for my frustration and my consideration of removing the review that you're harassing me of. Let's see what the better business bureau has to say about you harassing me over phone and text messages to remove an honest review.UPDATE!!! #2 . ADDED REVIEW, Just here to share my honest opinion about this company based on what a relative of mines experienced, I would think long and hard before hiring this company to come out and get work done. They left the work half complete and didn’t call or show up as promised to rectify. After multiple calls and text with threats then they responded. No one should have to endure something like this. I am a part of the household and this also concerns me. I live here!!!!!, it’s our chimney!!!!!.
It's been amazing experience with StoneGuard Masonry. Honestly glad that I have chosen an idle contractor and their Waterproofing quality is remarkable.
