Stonescapes LLC

We were thrilled with the beautiful stone patio that Stonescapes created for us, as well as the accompanying landscaping. Bjorn and George and their crew were very easy to work with and consistently did what they said that they would do. Recommended without reservation.

We couldn’t be happier with the stunning Goshen stone retaining wall built by the Stonescapes crew! We had an old, crumbling retaining wall along our driveway that was not only an eyesore but also starting to pose safety concerns. Bjorn was professional, responsive, and clearly experienced—he assessed the situation, offered thoughtful design ideas, and walked us through the entire process with care and transparency. The transformation is incredible. The new wall is solid, beautifully crafted, and truly highlights the natural beauty of Goshen stone. It has completely elevated the curb appeal of our home, and we've received so many compliments already! If you're looking for skilled stonework with outstanding results, we highly recommend Stonescapes. Their craftsmanship, reliability, and pride in their work shine through—and we would gladly hire them again for any future project.

Bjorn and George designed and installed a surround for a wood stove in this corner, including a custom engraving. They were amazing through every step of the process - finding what would work best for the fireplace and the house as well as matching my aesthetic and welcoming creative ideas. I said I liked Lew French’s stone art and Bjorn came to our first meeting with a few books of Lew’s work. Bjorn and I sent drawings back and forth about the etching until the design felt perfect. It was a thrill to envision, and then carved into the stone with precision and care. They were easy to communicate with, always prompt and efficient, patient when the project was delayed due to the stove, and able to fit me in for a different landscape project when it came up quickly. They executed the stone surround beautifully, with an engraving that’s so skillfully made and means a lot to me personally. They were also able to help me out with building an erosion prevention stone wall and other landscaping projects. So lucky to have them in this area!

Amazing experience! The Stonescapes team was trustworthy, punctual, easy to work with, kind and respectful, and extremely transparent about pricing and project plans. Our backyard was in steep decline (pun intended) and needed a retaining wall, drainage, a walkway, and some useable space for us to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Bjorn, George and team went above and beyond to engineer, design and deliver a solution. It's more beautiful than anything we could have hoped for! Highly recommend.

Stonescapes LLC transformed our property from a neglected, suburban eyesore into an elegant oasis. We approached the team with loose and poorly articulated concepts, and they enhanced our vision with encyclopedic horticultural knowledge and artistic sensibility. George, Bjorn, and Josh also helped us create the best plan for our budget. They were flexible and receptive to modifications, even during the installation. The whole process was actually fun and surprisingly quick, since we had their undivided attention every day from the beginning to the end of the project. Their insane arsenal of fancy equipment helped, too. The guys were capable and extremely professional, but more importantly, they were trustworthy and really nice. Our dog is the best judge of character, and he was always happy to see them in the morning. I can’t recommend Stonescapes enough. In our many renovations, the landscaping was the most drastic improvement. Thank you so much for making our home a sanctuary of stone and flowers.
