1820s farmhouse with a fieldstone (rubble) foundation with a failed bulging wall. Dave came out, explained how they would do the job and why. His answers to all my questions were correct, up to code, and with the knowledge that anything can happen with these old foundations once the job starts. Dave was honest about what did and didn’t need doing. Most importantly, the method was a lifetime fix and not a bandaid. (A few masonry companies before them either weren’t skilled enough to take on the job or had pretty awful solutions that would be temporary at best.) Both Dave and foreman Aaron took into account my concerns about stability of the surrounding foundation. Aaron executed the dig perfectly, not collapsing or destabilizing anything. They understood that jacking the house up wasn’t a good option (for a few reasons) and stabilized in place without shifting anything. Not a single hairline crack in the plaster walls above. The pour was excellent, bumping out to encapsulate both ends, buttressed for added stability. Block was filled and solid brick work to tie into an irregular wall. They did exactly the job they sold me, in fact above and beyond the scope in a few areas. Executed well each step of the way, and I can’t say enough about their ability to perform their trade. Truly have an understanding of these old foundations. They took on the whole job, and completed without change orders. Worth their price for expertise and peace of mind. Will be hiring again for any future needs.

Our very deteriorated chimney needed to be replaced before a scheduled solar panel project was to begin. Dave managed to get this project done in short order. His crew showed up on time and completed the work, which extended down to the attic floor and included a flue liner, in three days. The crew was efficient and hard working, and they did a good job cleaning up at the end. We highly recommend this company!

They were great to work with. Came out to assess the project and got me a quote quickly. Reasonably priced. Didn't have to wait very long for the work to start (about 2 weeks after signing agreement). Work was done in one day (chimney repointed and recapped). I would highly recommend them.

Dave and his team came out to give me an estimate on this small residential job. They were the second contractor I interviewed and I hired them because I could tell they knew their way around an old house. The estimate was very fair and the communication leading up to the workday was great. The team that did the work was really nice, and was efficient in their work and use of time. Really impressive what they could do with my little trainwreck porch base. The photos show the worst corner before and after. Simply awesome. AND they were 100% on estimate. Well done and would definitely recommend.
