10/31/2025 - since my review of this company they have supposedly “misentered” my email into their system so their billing never came to me. My emails to them went unreplied, the work is still incomplete - they are now demanding all of the “owed” balance as well as threatening small claims court. The owner knew going into this I was on a set income, the timeline we agreed upon was not completed in time, the bills didn’t come racking up late fees and other stuff that made it impossible to get caught back up on. The communication with this company is poor at best, when they decide they want to talk to you they do so rudely via email. ————- They were great to get a quote, great to read their quote and discuss what needed to be done. But they said the work would be done by the end of July. They showed up first in the beginning of August. The first picture here is how they left the job the first time, incomplete and partially done. They only did the top side when we had discussed the entire rock wall be cleaned. I called and left a message being polite thinking this might have been an error in miscommunication. Never received a call back to confirm the error, they just showed up the following Monday and partially finished the rest of the job. I have to get another picture because one of the quotes was for fallen tree moving to a different part of the property. They moved about 85% of the tree left by another company, but there are still remnants of the tree left on the rock wall, but no communication as to why it wasn’t finished. The last time I called there was no response so I don’t feel calling again would do any good. At this time I continue to get reminders to leave a review. Two stars for the pushiness of wanting reviews, five stars for the workers they hire, they did the job they were told to do, one star for communication, four stars for affordability and payment options.

The gardens around my home have suffered since Helene struck…and I’m not able to maintain. Anyway Sugarloaf did a magnificent job in cleaning out the beds, replacing plants, laying mulch and pine straw…I’m so pleased. So efficient, professional, and fast! They really did a fine job!

Workers did an excellent job. My only complaint was a lack of communication, the first day they were a no call no show,but they did come the following day and worked very hard in some intense heat and the job was finished by the promised date

We are very happy with the work done by the two young men who came to remove several overgrown bushes around our home. They also trimmed the remaining bushes. They were very prompt to respond after we submitted our request. We would highly recommend and will certainly keep them in mind for future projects.
