Summit Fence

A Belchertown customer described Summit Fence installing a fence through rocky ground in a backyard with no shade. In the June 2026 review, the customer praised Shane and his team’s effort and said the household was very happy with the fence. Summit Fence is based in Ware, Massachusetts. Its website says it installs, removes and repairs fences for residential and commercial customers, offers erosion-control work, and is fully insured. In a January 2024 review, a customer described planning a 700-plus-foot fence ahead of closing on a new home. Shane prepared a quote using conversations, satellite images and an on-site visit before closing. The customer wanted to start the project the week they moved in and said the entire project took around a week with minimal disruption to the property. The finished fence kept their dogs safe and improved the front of the property, according to that customer. An April 2024 reviewer praised the straight, even split-rail fence, Shane’s communication and his answers to questions while the customer was deciding whether to hire the business. Shane returned a few days later to make an adjustment at no additional charge. In an August 2025 review, another customer described roughly two weeks from consultation to installation and said the crew removed debris. A July 2023 reviewer described vinyl split-rail fencing along both side boundaries of a yard. A couple of days later, the customer needed four-foot-deep post holes for a pool deck and said Shane fit them in the next day. An April 2023 review praised a chain-link installation on challenging terrain with gates of several sizes. A separate April 2023 reviewer described a broken-post replacement on a six-foot stockade fence, including removal and reattachment of two panels. An August 2024 prospective customer said Shane promised a quote within a week, but weeks passed without a response despite attempts to contact him. A June 2022 prospective customer reported a late estimate appointment, having to contact the business, and more than a week without follow-up after the estimate.
