The business says it undertakes a wide range of carpentry, including windows, doors, flooring, shower and backsplash tiling, crown moulding and fencing. Thumbtack shows a 4.5-star average from 28 ratings. An April 2022 customer described several projects: repairing a floor rotted by a radiator leak, installing dining-room wainscoting and baseboard, replacing rotten garage plywood, and fitting a bi-fold door and medicine cabinet. That reviewer praised Zach's explanations, daily punctuality and the finished work. A December 2022 reviewer said Zack replaced wood on a barn, finished its columns and attached hurricane clips to the roof beams before planned winterizing. Smaller repairs also earned praise. In March 2022, a customer described a repaired window crank, shortened closet doors and an installed towel bar. An August 2022 reviewer praised window-sill work, clear communication and punctuality; a June 2022 customer said wood trim work was completed quickly. A December 2024 reviewer recommended Zack for general carpentry. Two complaints deserve equal attention. In a May 2022 review, a customer initially praised yard work to keep a dog contained, then described an unsatisfactory return visit for a clothesline. The customer said an 8 a.m. appointment became a 10 a.m. arrival by Zack's brother, who cut the line and strung the lengths individually. The reviewer said they would need to replace and install the line themselves and complained that Zack collected payment without an apology. An October 2025 reviewer alleged that a $50 hourly rate advertised on Thumbtack became a $200 minimum disclosed only upon arrival. That customer also criticized the work.
