My name is Thomas I live in Dracut had a major rot issue on my farmers porch that runs 40 by 30 feet. The LVL that supports floor josses , columns and roof was completely rotted out , ( wrong material used ) this structure would not with stand another winter. I had several contractors look at the job and no one wanted to touch it in fear of collapse. I than contacted ALPHA REMODELING & CONSTRUCTION out of Londonderry N H. I met with Roy Guilerme , he explained what had to be done to replace the rotten LVL , Alpha Remodeling took on the job and I am so pleased they did , Roy cut no corners he was very meticulous in the repair. Supporting the roof , floor josses replacing the 4 by 4 supports with 6 by 6 PT , ripping out 70 feet of rotten LVL replacing it with 2 by 10 PT leveling the porch and finished all trim. I had a very old deck that I needed replaced. Alpha made a suggestion about making the deck a little bigger which would wind up actually saving me money. I went from a 12’x9’ deck to a 16’x16’ deck that I absolutely love. The workers were very professional and explained what would happen each step of the way, from demolition to completion. They did not take shortcuts and everything was done with my desired results in mind. I could not be happier.

What a great job Roy and Laura did on our front entry railings! We have wide granite steps and the railings were installed in a way to maximize the look. They are beautiful and the installation was meticulous . They cleaned up so that nobody would ever have known they were there,which was greatly appreciated. The cost for materials of our choice and installation was quite reasonable. The appearance of the railings really enhances the look of the steps,whilst providing a means of entering and exiting the front door safely for anyone that needs additional support.
