Superior Remodelers

Superior Remodelers is a Newtown window, siding and roofing contractor whose written reviews run from 2016 to 2024. In a 2016 Thumbtack review, a homeowner said Superior was first to respond to a reroofing request, arrived with satellite images of the house, matched its bid to the final invoice exactly and finished the roof in two days. The company describes itself as a residential and commercial remodeler offering windows, doors, roofing, siding, spray foam insulation, gutters and decks, and says on Thumbtack that it uses its own crews rather than subcontractors. Connecticut lists the home improvement contractor registration of Superior Remodelers LLC, HIC.0638948, as active. Its BBB page is an A+ with accreditation. Thumbtack shows 4.7 stars from 15 ratings, and HomeAdvisor and Angi each 4.7 from 6. The jobs are mainly windows and siding. A 2018 Thumbtack customer who got four quotes said the crew sided a house and garage in four days. A 2020 Angi reviewer said the windows went in earlier than expected and the crew fixed a screen door problem. In a 2021 review, two cracked and aging windows were replaced, with a long wait for the windows themselves. A 2019 reviewer said Dave came out and told them their deck was sound and only needed a power wash. The complaints are mild. A 2020 Angi reviewer called the work great but pricey. A BBB reviewer said a skylight with a built-in solar shade came in $200 above the quote.
