Superior Stump Grinding takes on stumps, and its website lists a service area of Scituate, Glocester, North Providence, North Smithfield, Smithfield and Cranston. The company says it has been in business for 15 years. On Google, it holds 5 stars from 26 ratings. A recent customer needed enormous stumps ground far enough down to level a driveway and add gravel. They got a few quotes and said Mike was the only one who seemed confident enough to get it done with so much ledge and rock in the ground. That customer said he fit them into his schedule quickly and got the job done in less than half a day. A recent customer who was having large oak trees taken down contacted Mike about those stumps and some older ones; they said he was easy to schedule with, gave a very good price and showed up on time on the day of the work. A recent customer who needed a driveway paved said Mike came right away and cleared the stumps out.
