Surina's Tree Service

Mat and his team cut 3 trees and ground the stumps at a very reasonable cost. They also took great care to not damage our lawn can't say enough good things about our experience. They even gave an estimate to our neighbors to take down a tree of theirs and did it.

We asked Surina's Tree Service to take down a dead elm tree that was in a difficult spot on our property. Its upper branches were growing into the power lines, and the trunk was growing from a fairly steep hill that extended up from the road. The branches also hung over two large beds of flowers. We were completely impressed with how Matt Surina and his workers accomplished the job. Every move was careful. As they cut off the upper branches, they swung them away from the road and the power lines, and also avoided our flower beds—not a single petal was crushed. All of this was in 95-degree heat. We thought it would take them most of the day, but before noon the tree was down, they had run all the wood through their chipper, and everything was cleaned up. They removed every twig from our lawn, and swept up all the wood chips from our driveway. You couldn’t tell they had even been there working—except the big dead tree was gone. I don’t often write reviews but this was an excellent job by a really responsible team. They get our highest recommendation.

Matt Surina came over to look at the work needed, let me know when he would do the work, was on time, did a great job of trimming trees of dead limbs and branches, cutting back hemlocks and rhododendrons, and cleaning up afterwards. He made sure not to damage the lawn with his heavy equipment by putting down mats wherever he had to drive his bucket truck and chipper to get to a tree. He would regularly check with me about how the work was going and to give suggestions as to the trimming. Mat is friendly, professional, and good at what he does, as is his coworker. His prices are fair and competitive. I have already made arrangements for him to do more work for us.

Had couple trees taken down, they did an awesome job. Totally respected my property. Had tree stump ground an area cleaned up. Also had large shrub moved and planted in another area. Would highly recommend.
