The Cleaning Fairies is a house cleaning service whose website lists a service area of West Hartford, Newington, Glastonbury, Meriden, Bristol, Farmington, Avon and Simsbury. The site says the team arrives with its own cleaning supplies and equipment and asks clients to provide paper towels and trash bags. Google shows 4.9 stars from 29 ratings, and Thumbtack lists it as a Top Pro in 2023 and 2024. A recent Google customer on a weekly cleaning said they were the first cleaning crew to clean under the bathroom sinks, that they remove stains from the couch and toddler stains from the walls every time they stop in, and that they wash the dishes. A 2025 customer said the owner, Ysadora, came out to see their Newington townhouse and that what she quoted was what they paid, with no hidden add-on cost. A 2024 customer said the estimate was 3.5 hours, the job ran 5.5, and the company stuck to the estimated price. A 2024 customer said the deep cleaning reached the vents, the tops of appliances and the baseboards, and that the company worked with them each week to find a time while a family member was immunocompromised. A 2024 customer who described themselves as elders said Ysadora even came back to their home to hang curtains. A 2023 customer said they started with a deep clean and then had the team come every two weeks. A 2025 Google customer who said they were her first client wrote that a lot changed in one year: the owner stopped texting, different people came every time, things were broken and furniture was scratched, and one month was skipped despite an agreement to clean to the end of the year. A 2024 Thumbtack reviewer wrote that the company should show up for the initial interview and not waste a potential client's time.
The cleaning fairies have been the first cleaning crew to clean under my bathroom sinks, remove stains off of my tv couch and remove toddler stains off of the walls every time they stop in. Not to mention they too wash your dishes; which so many companies don’t do. It’s been wonderful having them on board for our weekly cleaning.
The Cleaning Fairies cleaned my Townhouse (in Newington) from top to bottom this past Saturday and they did a fantastic job. They were Professional, Friendly & Respectful. I’ve used other cleaning services before so I truly didn’t expect “anything different” than a decent cleaning. When they were done I was “blown away” by the quality of the extensive cleaning they did. They even cleaned nooks and crannies that I never thought about asking them to clean. I definitely will use this company “The Cleaning Fairies” again and again. The owner Ysadora came out to see the house and what she quoted me was what I paid there were no hidden add-on cost. I strongly recommend this company.
A lot changed in just one year. We were her first client and raved about their services. Over the past year, the owner disappeared and stopped texting me. She promised to be on site when they cleaned. There were different people every time and things were broken and hidden from view and furniture was scratched. I admire people that are learning English, however, many times I could not have a conversation with anyone and that’s a problem because they can’t read English. When you wear glasses and go in the shower, you take your glasses off. I can’t tell the number of times that cleaning products were next to my shampoo. Additionally, we made an agreement to clean to the end of year, but she skipped me one month. They NEVER had me on a schedule! If they did, it was NEVER communicated. I have zero interest in speaking to this owner ever again. Hope she enjoys my money.
The cleaning fairies provide an amazing service. They’re always on time, thorough, and professional. They will take your feedback/requests and adjust their cleaning as requested. 10/10 recommend!
Ysadora and her team are phenomenal! We booked our initial deep clean on very short notice (less than 1 weeks notice) and they were super accommodating and responsive. The deep clean was extremely thorough and we were so happy that we now have them come every other week. Highly recommend!!
