Patios, planting, irrigation and extensive yard construction feature in customers' accounts of The Doty Group from 2022 through 2025. The Merrimack company says it has served the area for over 30 years, offering landscape design, construction and maintenance, masonry, irrigation, outdoor lighting and seasonal snow removal. Its stated service area reaches from Merrimack, Nashua and Manchester into Massachusetts towns including Tyngsborough, Dracut, Lowell, Chelmsford and Andover. In an August 2024 Google review, a Hollis homeowner described land clearing, irrigation, a new lawn, a stone patio and a Soake pool installed by Nate and the team. A September 2024 reviewer praised a completed large patio. Another customer writing that month described planting and stonework done in summer 2023 and praised the company's communication and follow-through. In an August 2024 review, a homeowner described a retaining wall and illuminated walkway installed the previous fall. Other customers described work that continued over time. An August 2024 reviewer credited Larry with fixing a sprinkler system that had struggled for years, alongside an earlier walkway project. That customer said the company got busy and advised calling early. A different August 2024 customer said Larry and his team had maintained two commercial properties for more than three years, praising communication and clear rates. An October 2024 reviewer appreciated collaboration and adjustments to a project, while a November 2025 reviewer praised Nate's design recommendations and pictorial plan through the project's then-current stage. There were also specific complaints. In June 2024, a prospective customer said they had waited two months for a flower-bed quote despite repeated messages. In May 2024, another homeowner reported problems after yard leveling, fill, hydroseeding, an extension and drainage work: a collapsed corner, buried drains, flooding of a neighbor's yard and failed grass growth. The reviewer said Morgan attributed the problem to an act of God, that they waited weeks and dug out drains themselves, and that the company's later corrections came in stages. They still reported pooling water and patchy grass. That same May reviewer said two months of unanswered contact attempts ended in a reply within 24 hours after contacting BBB, but their request for further drainage repairs and reseeding was refused. This was the homeowner's account of unresolved work and follow-up problems. Google displayed a 4.8-star average from 39 ratings in August 2026.
