A front yard, multiple driveways and a new stone wall were the work one homeowner praised in a May 2025 Google review of The Growing Company. The Hyannis landscaper says it is family-owned, has been in business since 1985 and serves Cape Cod. Its advertised work includes landscape construction and maintenance, hardscapes, irrigation, planting, vista pruning, driveway refurbishment, and ponds and waterfalls. The homeowner credited Jeff and his crew with transforming the front of the property and described courteous workers. They said the price was comparable to other bids. A backyard remodel was still something they looked forward to in that review. Another customer writing in May 2025 described years of projects on the Cape, from spring and fall cleanup to landscape design and carrying out the design, and praised Jeff and the team for turning ideas into finished work. Smaller jobs drew praise too. A May 2025 reviewer described several curb-appeal projects at an old house and said the property looked renewed a couple of days later. In June 2023, a customer praised pruning, mulching and a spring cleanup. The company also maintained an office building for years, according to a May 2025 reviewer who described manager Andrew Bollin as organized and the service as timely. Google shows 4.6 stars from 11 ratings. A July 2023 customer described attractive landscaping and polite workers but raised substantial complaints about billing and follow-through. They alleged prices at least double those of their replacement landscaper, lump-sum bills without itemization and inflated work hours. They also said a hired tree removal was left undone, the invisible fence was severed several times, sprinkler problems remained after repeated visits, and cut branches were left in trees. The reviewer said the owner responded to emails or texts by calling rather than putting things in writing. Those were that customer's allegations; the May 2025 homeowner separately described pricing comparable to competing bids.
