Almost everyone who writes about The Inside View is a dentist. The Haverhill studio's Houzz portfolio runs 18 projects deep and leans hard into dental, prosthodontic, eye-care and other medical and professional offices — this is a firm that designs the room you sit in waiting for a cleaning more than the one you watch TV in. It is a design office, not a building crew. Its own site is direct about the arrangement: The Inside View plans the interior and coordinates with your contractor, equipment supplier and other vendors rather than performing the construction itself. Mary E. Grise founded and owns The Inside View, LLC, and the company puts its own tenure at 20 years; BBB lists a 2006 business start and four employees, while Houzz carries the firm's account of Grise starting out in 1998 after eight years in real estate development and construction project management. The reviews run in one direction. Twenty-six of them across six sources from 2021 through 2026, and the tone barely wavers — Google sits at 5.0 over 32 ratings, and BBB grades the business A+ even though it isn't accredited there and shows no reviews of its own. What clients keep returning to is the planning and the coordination: someone holding the drawings, the finishes and the trades together from first meeting through the day the space opens. Two things to sort out before you call. First, fit: the demonstrated depth here is commercial and medical build-outs, so if you want a residential kitchen or bath done, ask to see houses, not practices. Second, scope: since the studio coordinates rather than constructs, you are still hiring and paying a builder — pin down where the design fee ends, what the drawings cover, and who is accountable when the trades disagree. The right call if you're building or reworking a professional space and want one person keeping the plan coherent while contractors come and go. Worth a call for a home interior too, with that caveat. The studio at 18 Essex Street is a renovated fire station set up for browsing samples in person, and the firm says it works across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

It was a pleasure working with Inside the View, and especially with Kimberly. She was extremely accommodating and guided me through every step of the process. I am very happy that I chose to work with Kimberly and the Inside the View team. The office turned out beautifully, and our patients constantly compliment the design

Mary did an incredible job helping us modernize our outdated orthodontic practice. She immediately understood our goals and found the perfect balance between modern design, functionality, and a welcoming feel for patients of all ages. She was organized, creative, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She had an incredible vision for the reception area and I am so glad we followed her advice and took the space to the next level. The finished space looks fantastic, and we constantly receive compliments from both patients and staff. I would highly recommend Mary to anyone looking to transform a professional office.

Mary helped me build my Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Maine and she did an exceptional job. She is very talented and has great style. Im the son of a lobster fisherman and have a great affinity for the ocean, I also have no style and am color blind. Mary guided me through creating a beautiful office that suits me perfectly, not only to do my job as a surgeon but it also tells my story and my past. Everyone who comes to my office cant stop talking about how beautiful it is. Not only that but Mary keeps all the contractors in line and on task. I wouldnt want to build a chicken coop without her now.

The Inside View did an absolutely amazing job designing my dental office! From the very beginning, they listened carefully to my vision and needs, and transformed the space into something both functional and beautiful. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the welcoming reception area to the modern, comfortable treatment rooms. Patients constantly compliment the office design, mentioning how relaxing, clean, and high-end it feels. The team at The Inside View was professional, creative, and always attentive to my ideas while offering their expert guidance. They truly understand how to balance aesthetics with practicality, which is so important in a healthcare setting. I am beyond thrilled with the results and grateful for their dedication and talent.
