The Inspired Kitchen LLC describes itself on its website as a kitchen and bathroom renovation firm that guides clients through a design/build process. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, number HIC.0651831, is active on the state registry. A recent customer said Abby and her team transformed their first floor, renovating the kitchen and bathroom, installing new flooring throughout, adding ceiling beams and expanding into the garage to create a pantry. A customer who had a kitchen and bathroom remodel said the company met the timeline it gave, was responsive to issues identified and did not add much extra cost over the agreed-upon cost. That customer also said the company was not proactive on identifying and fixing quality issues itself, and that cabinets and drawers it installed were left pretty dirty. A 2025 customer said a kitchen and laundry room/pantry renovation was done as scheduled and within the specified budget, and that when problems arose with opening walls, the team worked with them to get the right sub-contractors involved. A 2024 customer said Abby and her team overhauled a 1980s kitchen, gutting the cabinets, replacing the floors with hardwood and opening up an entryway to the family room; that customer wrote that they estimated 6-8 weeks and it came in at about 8 weeks. A 2023 customer said the project involved demolishing 1964 kitchen cabinets, counters, backsplash and lighting, and that the contractors arrived on time with a few exceptions and left the job site clean. A 2022 customer said Abby nailed the schedule and cost estimates on a kitchen update.

Thank you Abby and team!
We had a good experience with Inspired Kitchen on our kitchen and bathroom remodel. A lot went very well with the project. The kitchen looks great, they met the timeline they said, they were responsive to issues identified, and they didn't add much extra cost over the agreed upon cost. Compared to many experiences people have with these sorts of projects, that's a big win. Two watch areas I'd note - They weren't proactive on identifying and fixing the quality issues themselves. We had to identify a number of issues and raise them to their attention. Also, things like the cabinets and drawers they installed were pretty dirty when they left them. All in all, we'd use them again for a remodel, but potential customers might note those watch areas.
Great work they are doing for the communities. Thank you
If you're looking for a contractor who is talented, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about their clients, we cannot recommend The Inspired Kitchen (TIK) strongly enough. Abby and her team transformed our first floor, renovating our kitchen and bathroom, installing new flooring throughout, adding beautiful ceiling beams, and even expanding into our garage to create a much-needed pantry. From the very first design conversations through the final punch-list items, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. What truly sets TIK apart is the people. Every specialty contractor Abby brought into our home was incredibly skilled, took pride in their craftsmanship, and paid close attention to even the smallest details. More importantly, every person was respectful, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure we were happy with the results. For nearly three months, we had people coming in and out of our home, and by the end of the project, they felt like extended family. That says a lot about the culture Abby has created and the people she chooses to work with. Communication throughout the project was exceptional. Abby and her team were proactive, responsive, transparent, and always available to answer questions or address concerns. We always knew what was happening and felt completely confident that our home was in good hands. The finished product is everything we hoped for and more. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail are evident throughout our home, and we're incredibly grateful to Abby and the entire TIK team for making what could have been a stressful renovation such a positive experience. Choosing The Inspired Kitchen was a great decision, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor they can trust to bring their home dreams to life.
Abby helped us completely gut our kitchen and turn it into a truly functional and beautiful space. She made the process so easy and took care of everything. We feel like we got a brand new house and it was worth every penny!
