“James Grew , owner of the Seacoast Gardener, based in North Hampton, New Hampshire, stated, ‘for us, coastal resilience landscaping is about creating gardens that can recover from salt spray, storm surge, and heavy coastal weather – not just withstand them.”
James and his crew do a great job! Once you are a client, James becomes the steward of your garden. He is creative and the team works hard. My garden beds always look great and I get tons of compliments on my yard.
James and his team are knowledgable, professional, and capable. They have done great work to improve and maintain the gardens.
James took us on in the middle of the season last year to refresh our garden areas. His suggestions were practical and added color and thought to our spaces. He is an easy person to work with, as are his helpers and we look forward to his thoughts this spring and summer. I highly recommend James!
James and his team are knowledgeable and methodical. We have a large garden and they do a wonderful job maintaining it.
This is from Tony Greenwald, recently retired (from U of Washington in Seattle) and now happily residing on South Street in Portsmouth. Still waiting for spring, I see that some of the flowering plants that James has planted in my garden areas are just now poking through the ground. I was fortunate to discover James 2 years ago. He and his crew have been caring for plantings installed by a fine gardener who was not nearly so pleasant to deal with as is James. I enjoy chatting with James on his regular visits (we have interests in common other than gardening). Those visits will start in the next few days (I'm writing on April 1). James's helpers are a mixture of experienced gardeners and relative youngsters -- all very friendly. I expect that he may be converting some of the younger hard-working helpers into gardeners who will eventually have businesses of their own. I have no hesitation in recommending him strongly.
