EXPENSIVE BAIT AND SWITCH... Troy was referred to us when we were looking for a painter for our house trim. He explained to us that the wood on several of our windows was too damaged and needed to be replaced instead of just painted. My husband and I agreed with him that we will hire him for those windows, INSTEAD of a regular painter... Well it turned out that he never intended to do any painting, and now that he is done, we still need to get a painter for those windows... Troy says the contract made it clear that he would not paint, but both my husband and I were going by what we discussed with him in person, where it was made clear that we thought he would deliver those windows to us 100% finished, no further work needed. So as far as we are concerned, this is classic BAIT AND SWITCH. Also, he is QUITE EXPENSIVE. We would have never agreed to pay his price if we knew we would still need to hire a painter afterwards.
