Speed keeps coming up. A March 2026 customer described a yard cleanup that came out exactly as asked at fair pricing; in April 2026 another had a spring cleanup and lawn thatching quoted one day and done the next. Reviewers in 2024 wrote about the crew arriving early or on schedule, and one in March 2024 watched Anthony direct a crew of four through a front and back yard cleanup, then signed up for every-other-week mowing on the strength of it. The work runs wider than mowing. Cleanups, weeding, edging and mulching come up most, alongside shrub trimming, thatching, and clearing roadside weeds and dead trees. In September 2022 a customer described the crew pulling out an old walkway and laying a new one in Hyde Park, taking out concrete slabs around the house, leveling the lawn, adding loam and seeding. The complaints are worth reading before you call, and both turn on a neighbor's property. A customer writing in April 2021 said a November leaf cleanup ran on into the dark and left large piles of leaves under trees and shrubs on the neighbor's land, and that three messages asking for it to be cleared went unreturned. In January 2022 a longer-standing client wrote that they had let Thunder go after two mostly trouble-free years, citing the owner arguing with a neighbor over where the truck was parked, a mower run across a different neighbor's lawn, and instructions that were not followed. Those accounts are four and five years old, and the recent stretch looks different: the five reviews from 2026 raise nothing of the kind. The ratings line up at 4.8 across the board — 103 on Angi, the same 103 mirrored on HomeAdvisor, and 299 more on Thumbtack. For seasonal cleanups, regular mowing and shrub work, with the occasional walkway or grading job alongside, this is a responsive outfit with an unusually deep written history. Given what the older complaints describe, be explicit up front about where debris goes and where the truck parks, particularly on a tight street, and put any change to your standing instructions in writing.
