Typical permit value across the set is about $28,200. It isn't all interiors. A deck rebuild in Danvers in 2023 ran $25,980 and a Wakefield retaining wall came in at $38,000 in 2024. Two jobs are commercial: a hamburger restaurant fit-out on Norwood St in Everett in 2023 — interior wall, kitchen exhaust hood, electrical, $48,500 — and a hand-sink added to a Malden tattoo parlour in 2025. Licensing is where to press. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts construction supervisor licence, CS-116339, which it says it saw active in June 2026, and that is the only credential on the page. No home improvement contractor registration appears, and in Massachusetts that registration is what covers nonstructural residential home improvement work. The licence entry is the directory's claim and has not been confirmed against the state registry here. Two more things worth knowing. BuildZoom says it has received no reviews for him, so the BZ Score of 101 it prints comes from permits and licences rather than from anyone who hired him. And the "six years of experience" line on that page, along with a services list naming painting, flooring, siding and decks, is the site's own generated copy rather than anything on record. By his permits he is a bathroom-and-kitchen renovator working across Boston's north suburbs and the North Shore, comfortable taking out a wall. Ask him for the HIC registration number and for references from the 2024 jobs before signing.
