Called at 8 am, replacing a leaking water heater by noon: that is how one recent Google customer described TLC Plumbing, which holds a 4.8-star average from 111 Google ratings. The company's own site lists boilers, leak detection, leaky faucets and toilets, plumbing fixtures, and pipe repair and repiping, names Fairfield, Westport, Darien, New Canaan, Trumbull, Easton, Weston and Greenwich as its service area, and says it has been in business 25 years. A recent customer said Brian and his team diagnosed issues from the top floor to the basement and re-plumbed some of the house's plumbing into a clean layout. When they missed a line to the irrigation system, that customer said they tore up part of their work and redid it at no additional cost. A recent customer who named Tom as the owner said they replaced a hot water heater at a reasonable price and cleaned up everything when they left. A recent customer with a hot water heater problem over a holiday weekend said Thomas walked them through it step by step, and a new system was installed that day. A recent customer had a sink and vanity put in and rusted pipes replaced, and said the final price came in under the estimate. A recent customer with a small leak sent pictures first, and someone came out to do the repair the very next morning. A 2026 customer said that by the morning after the call Tom gave an assessment, and by 3 pm the main pipe repairs were finished, including coordinating with Aquarion to turn off water to the house. A 2026 customer described a Navien combi boiler installation that was completed on time. A 2026 customer said that after another company damaged a pipe while trying to unclog a drain, TLC ran an entirely new pipe line for a fraction of what that company had quoted. A 2026 customer said TLC came out within an hour to resolve a frozen pipe for a kitchen faucet. A 2026 customer whose toilet needed snaking again said they still had not heard back despite numerous calls. A 2025 customer said Thomas gave a quote from pictures, said he would check his schedule and get back, and then never replied. It holds an active Connecticut P1 plumbing licence, PLM.0281142-P1, under Thomas J Considine Sr.
Exceptional service at a fair price. Brian and his team clearly diagnosed a plethora of issues our house had, from the top floor to the basement. Brian spent a lot of time explaining the why’s and how’s of the issue and provided a more than reasonable quote for the work. They completely re-plumbed some of the dumbest and messiest plumbing I have ever seen into a clean and well crafted layout. Because of the convoluted original plumbing, they missed one strange line to our irrigation system. They tore up part of their completed work and redid it at no additional cost, so everything is perfect. I will only be using them from now on and recommending them to everyone I know personally.
Called Tom at 8 am and he was replacing a leaking water heater by noon. Scope of work, pricing and timeline were clear. Will use TLC again in the future.
I needed a sink replaced and a new vanity put in as well as rusted pipes replaced. They came back with an estimate quickly and they did the job quickly and it was actually cheaper than even the price they gave me at first so they're very very fair. I'm going to recommend these guys to everyone I know
This company is terrific. Extremely responsive and the guys that came were professional and thorough.
BEST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. Tom, the owner, is the nicest guy you will ever meet. The crew was a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up everything when they left. They replaced my hot water heater at a very reasonable price. Lisa, Tom's wife, is such a nice person to deal with. I could not be happier. Bless you both.
